aking up in Woodstock I saw the rain had passed and it was not too gray out. A farm tractor went by a few times on the highway with loads of manure. I could tell I wasn't in Worcester any more.
Riding to breakfast we find Ed is having mechanical problems with a leaky clutch slave cylinder. The Vermont mud was too much for it. Ed hightailed it home on the freeway and the rest of the squad was down to three of us. Last year we had only three by the last day also.
Fred led us to a neat hobbit hole called Calendar II in Woodstock. No one is sure who made it, but it is old and the rocks making it are huge. Most likely ancient Celts had made it and it is lined up for the Winter solstice sunrise.
Made really good time heading towards Cavendish.
Leon said no camping we gotta get home!
A few pictures of the Round School house and facilities
Another bridge we can't cross
We are lost again
End of the trail. Wagon Wheel for lunch.
750 miles moving average speed 36.9 mph
