Hey guys - just did some measuring on a quart of Formula Shell oil and the dimensions (of the quart) are 9" tall by 4.25" wide by 2.5" deep. The quart just passes through the box opening, but it will slip through fine. I took a few shots of it in a first generation demo toolbox (no angle cut at the front), but confirmed against a Generation II box that it will fit nicely with the spout inserted first. When the quart is in the box spout-in, you'll have about 2.5" behind and above the quart, and approximately 0.5" on the side (or 0.25" on each side).
I've also included a picture of the box with nothing in it so you can see the rivet construction and threaded inserts for the mounting brackets. There's also a shot of the back of the toolbox door to show the foam gasket (ignore the missing lock - yours will come with one!).
Hope this helps...any other questions, please let me know!
