I don' think I was the only one to recognize that instead of what we were used to seeing where DP would seem to settle he fought back and won. I just think in some of the races this year where DP has been passed towards the end and hasn't mounted much of a retaliation we are seeing what we saw at the beginning of last year and then in the 2nd half of the year he didn't back off.
I think DP showed in 2012, that he can fight hard for race wins, when that is necessary. He came very close to winning the title as well. This year, and especially now with JLo´s injury, it looks even better for him at this point. He may not even have to risk it all to get a win, and he´ll be wise enough to know, that right now he might be better off that way. But if he has to fight, I don´t think he´ll have a problem with that at all.

For Kevin Schwantz´ sake, I really do hope DP gets it all together this year...
