Just used mine today in the garage to get a Karoo3 off. No, it didn't work by itself. I tried working it around the rim in small increments but it would not work on it's own. When using a long spoon to push the bead down next to the beadbreaker it worked better. And lots of lube - a luxury that will not be afforded on the trail this week.
