Nice to see all the adventure riders who also fly fish. I'm pretty active in our local fly fishing club, Buckeye United Fly Fishers, and also an active leader in our local Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. Fly fishing is a great sport, and place to also find some solitude.

I have built a few rods, five to be exact, and the last one was just finished after Memorial Day--a 9'6" 8 wt steelhead rod. So on my first outing with the Veterans at a local park pond, I thought I'd give it a try on some of the bass living deeper in the pond. Caught this guy on a white woolly bugger:



There's nothing like catching fish on a rod you built with a fly you tied! :)
