You set the tubes in the same spot in the triples,right?Ive had bikes with the tubes lowered in the triples which puts to much weight on front end,and shortens the stroke.Feels like the front end washes left or right when pushed and the front wheel deflects and feels harsh.
Set the tubes back and set your sag,then adjust for perfered dampning.
I got faith in ya,but I have had that problem.
You still running stock rear spring?Beat spring will take it out of sag,and off set front end.
I think I got a 4.5g rear spring for that bike,stocks a 4.0g,might help.Its orange,so its gotta be a good spring.
