New to spoked wheels of any type. Picked up a 76 xl250. Want to convert it to street only.

Visually comparing this wheel to a Ducati 916 wheel I have laying around and I don't think my wheel has a "safety bead" :(

I'm respoking my front hub to this, which is a rear hoop from the same bike :p My plan is to use it as a backroads tourer, 99% road, and the thing has a max speed of 70mph

edit2: after further research, I'm gonna give it a go anyway. A 70mph puncture with a tube would be the exact same result except it would deflate faster. The tire would be able roll off the rim just as easy with no air in the tube. It's a low power bike so I doubt at any point I'll be able to power the tire off the rim (as long as the bead is sealed properly).
