I just got back from a trip along the CDT as far as Yellowstone, then a trip through Idaho into Washington. After we got north of the border the route got a bit dull, due to all those washouts and closures. On the plus side we did Grey Creek pass and Sulfur Creek into Fernie, and both were really nice rides.
I got to do my first trail side (Hiedenau) repair along the Grey Creek pass, after picking up a nail. It was a bear but I got it done with a few extra hands helping. Side-stand bead breaking and a long tire iron were key.
