I started the bike last night! and man, it started RIGHT UP:) scared the crap out of my dog and numerous small children.
That's the good news. The bad news is that I believe I need different throttle cables. The bike wouldn't idle, it just started and jumped to 4500rpm. I did some investigating, and the my current throttle cables for the R80/7 with 32mm Bings have a 60mm free length. Apparently the cables for 40mm Bings are supposed to have a free length of 72mm - this would explain the high rpms.
So i'm on a search today! I want to ride this bike, and I'm hoping someone local will have the correct cables...
wish me luck.
