DirtyADV going fuel injected??? - 990R

Have enjoyed the 950 a whole lot.

But there have been some engine issues, worn engine cases by the cylinder base "Pyndon Syndrome" and shifting is acting up every now and then finding false neutral between gears.

There are now some -11 990 for sale at a decent price so thinking about upgrading.

Most of the upgrades should transfer to a new bike without issues.

Sadly the -11 R only comes with a 245 suspension travel (have a Pyndon monster 320 so would transfer that) but wanted to sell and think a 245 will have a lot less interest then a 265 (have a used 245 for sale already and no interest what so ever)


Will have to haggle the price some more but is there any point going for an R? They have stock 990 -11 also.

ABS? Easy to remove? ...or keep and se if it goes crazy from a 320 suspension?

Any other difference, know it was discussed a while back if there was different engine parts in the normal vs the R but did not pay much attention since I was happy back then with a carbed 950.

Please help out what do I do?

A replacement engine might be the way to go but dont want to ruin a season when mine breaks down searching an engine and wrenching.
