I am not sure you are going to like the gearing in the duke engine.
The duke has a close ratio gearbox in it. Compared to your adventure engine, 1st is closer to second and 5th is very close to 5th.
It is an extra days work and some gaskets, but you could harvest your 950's gear box and transplant into the Dukes
. This will save you from having to take the engine out again after you find you don't like the gearing.
