I should add that some of it depends on your mechanical ability. I do all my own work, so tearing into a 950 isn't all that though for me. They're downright simple compared to the cars I'm used to. I bought mine with 48k on it, and while I'm working on going through it stem to stern, I still haven't found anything worn out. Eventually it will need timing components and the oil pressure relief spring done, but otherwise it runs like new. It seems like there is a lot of variation in the 950 world as far as wear-vs-mileage goes.
