Haven't posted about my BASE 2010 MTS in a long time. I have two quick updates.
Yesterday, I turned over 25,000 miles. Bike is still running good. Although I think there is a small oil leak some where... I'm still happy with my purchase, especially with the extended warranty. My only regret is that my job for the past two years hasn't allowed enough riding time. I really want to take another few week trip on her bad.
Last week I ordered some Ohlins goodies. Apparently Ohlins now makes a traditional mechanical cartridge kit for the forks. It should arrive next week. I also ordered the normal TTX shock. I'll report back on the "new" kit, once it gets installed and I get some miles under them. I figured a full suspension upgrade was in order. I was holding out for Ohlins to annouce a new "full" active suspension that would be a replacement or upgrade for the first years of MTS. Ohlins had some prototypes, but it sounds like a product that will not make it to market. I wish it would though.
