MORE Tracks

We Rode 9 miles HWY from Ouray to Ridgeway, Jumpped on dirt roads for 14 miles, took the Nate Creek Trail (7.2 miles) to a ATV trail # 240 (5.2 miles) back on Main Dirt road for 2.1 miles to Trail 225 Trail head. Rode the Alpine trail then back on Dirt Roads for 10 miles, jumped on HWY for 11.9 miles to Lake City for Lunch and Gas, After that we took Engineer Pass back to Ouray .
Total for the day was 124 miles, including a few short side trips on the way back. It was a GREAT LONG Day of riding our small Dual Sports.
The trail is not for the Timid or any big Bikes ( 650's etc, Not that you could not do it but it just wouldn't be as fun as on a small bike.), The Nate Creek Trail has a very Steep climb with very tight Switchbacks and is very narrow, You would not want to screw up there. The Alpine trail is easier but can be very tough in spots, Most of the switchbacks are ride-able but that being said, I would not recommend it for any beginners, or people that have trouble with Heights.
.
attached unfiltered tracks for Ouray to Lakecity via nate Creek Trail & Alpine Trail.
