I would say that I-395 from north of Norwich, CT almost to Worcester, MA is pretty nice. Good scenery, generally not that crowded, sweeper-ish stretches.

Also, I-190 heading towards Wachusett Mtn in Mass.

I live up near the northern end of 395. I would tend to agree that it is reasonably pleasant for CT slab.

Some stretches of I-91 in Vermont are nice too as far as scenery and lack of traffic.
