There is no easy way to fix it or really any reason to attempt to do so. There appears to be enough of it left to suffice. Torque the bolt to spec and forget it.

If it bothers him, the only way to really fix it is weld it up and re-machine it, or replace the case half. Either one would involve completely disassembling the engine. It would be a lot easier and cheaper to sell it.

If it was mine, I'd put it back together and ride it.
I'll keep it. Really had no intention of trying to fix it.

...and if it was yours Wayne, you'd sell the POS and buy a DRZ-400s
