Day 3.

Halls Gap return loop.

The weather was looking pretty miserable today.

There was thunderstorms predicted for later in the evening so we decided to pack up camp until we could work out where we were going to stay for the night.

Of course, every day starts with an adventure latte

Owing to the rubbish weather predicted for the evening, we hired a cabin for the night and dropped off our camping equipment.

We then set out to ride some of the roads around the Grampions.

Serra Rd.

Weather looks okay here..

Not so much here..

Glenelg River Road.

Stopped for refreshments..

Back on the road.

Glenelg River Road.

Stony Creek Rd/Northern Grampions Rd.

Returning to Halls Gap via Northern Grampions Rd.

Very scenic.

Back in Halls Gap.

Lunch from the bakery.

..and then the rain came!

It would rain on and off for the rest of the day.

We decided to retire to our cabin.

Went for a walk later and saw this 'roo with a passenger

Yeah, it's cold!

Pizza for dinner.

Only 76 km's for the day.

Gps track for the day.

Not very helpful as it isn't labelled, but you sort of get the idea if you imagine that Halls Gap is located near the upper right hand corner of the track..
