That's pretty much my situation - I have a 690 Enduro R for my offroad antics and the 990 Adventure is just sort of my go anywhere street bike. I keep it shoed with Conti Trail Attacks and ride it on nothing worse than fire road two-track jeep trail type stuff. As such, I tried out the standard because it leans more towards street with light dirt duty and that suits my needs.
