So this is what Questor just Said.

So I did ride the 1190 and 1190R.
In summary: I would say that these bikes are very smooth, very powerful, and are all around a significant improvement to what KTM has made in the past. The bike had plenty of power and delivers is smoothly. The brakes are excellent, and the ergonomics will provide easy riding and a good riding position. They will be worthy competitors for bikes like the Ducati Multistrada, BMW K1300GT, and other powerful Canyon chaser bikes.
However, this is not the type of bike I prefer. It's too smooth, too quiet, and too complicated. Six separate computers. Complicated ABS and traction control systems. Fuel injection and chipped keys / anti-theft systems. These are all things I don't need to be worrying about when I'm hundreds of miles from the nearest paved road.
