Perhaps I was not clear enough. I am leaving the Karoo 3 in the front and putting the Anakee 3 on the rear. I realize it is all a compromise. If I wanted the best traction in muddy clay, I would replace the worn Karoo 3 with another. That tire has done quite well off-road, but wears too quickly and isn't exactly confidence inspiring on-road. My goal is to have a combination that handles my normal daily commute without totally sucking when I cut through the pastures and play in the dirt.
