Hey Stephen, the food is great out here, having travelled a lot in other parts of Africa and lived at times on quite a monotonous diet of mealy maize/nshima and beans, I'm enjoying the wide variety here. Lots of produce, cooked with rice or spaghetti, chips (french fries to you) and fritters including veggie and sweet ones.
