Hehe, funny how we imagine the worst things first. My heart stopped cold once when I had total power loss, revs were dropping while throttle was wide open, I thought I'd seized it. It turned out to be the the rubber slipping on the throttle twist grip, whatever glue was holding it on had turned to slime in the sun, allowing the return springs to slowly close the throttle while the rubber grip stayed still. Had to squeeze it really tight to get home, but I was laughing all the way.
