Day 3. The journey home Part 1.

What a beautiful morning. The weather is calling for sunny and warm all the way home.

Kickstand up at 6:03 am and off to the ferry terminal for first boat across.

Quite a few bikes on board, caught up with some beemer riders and had a nice chat on the upper deck.

Not often you see the crossing this smooth.

You can get a healthy breakfast on board, but it doesn't look that great.

Off through the Fraser Valley and up the Coquihalla. I went the other way.

Joined the number 1 and headed towards Calgary. I have lots more pics but most of them have a thumb in them.

And at that point the battery in the camera dies. I was hoping to get pictures of Cougar Creek in Canmore AB where the flood went through.
But imagine this: The creekbed must have been 200' wide where it used to be 10'. There were no dirt or stones or small rocks. Just big rocks. 6" round and bigger. Everything else smaller than that went downstream. It was a mess.

Overnighted at my brother's place in Airdrie with beer and food. In that order.
