I think Yamaha made some big improvements in the last 1/3 of the year, for Jorge, anyway. Hopefully they continue that trend. Jorge's was the bike to beat in the second half of the season.
Vale is going to need to see some similar improvements for the bike to suit his personal riding style. No evidence of that happening just yet.
Maybe this was his "punishment year" for leaving the fold.
Now he can say, "If you fix the braking, I can be help to Lorenzo!"
