Ken- what's your thought on removing the SAS? I stripped that stuff off of my 950s but on the 990 I only removed the cannister and left the SAS alone. My understanding, (probably wrong) was that the SAS was not a true weakness like the cannister, but removing it cleaned up all those darned hoses, etc. In otherwords, removing the SAS doesn't really do anything but clean out the clutter.
