On another note I'm coming in before the other guys and I plan on racing The AMRA hare scramble over in Peoria. Question I have is do any of you run a trials tire rear, If so which one? With all the rocks I'd think it would be a great tire.[/QUOTE]

I run trials tires( Pirelli MT43) on the rear of my bikes. They do great in our local conditions. The pirellis are bias ply so the hold up better out here than competition trials tires. 6-7 lbs seems to be the sweet spot to maximize grip and minimize pinch flats. They work great in the tough ST!
