How low does the water temp go down before you have to worry? 35 degrees at the tap?
FYI the frost is now 62 inches down near Rochester (MN).
I have heard (didn't read it on the internet so I don't know if it is abslutely true) that one should be working the problem when the temp at the tap is initially 40°.
A friend that lives near Bemidji was seeing about 35° but after running it for a while it got above 50°. That was from a well.
It might not get that warm if you have city water.
In MPLS IIRC water is free so you could just let it run.
