Well, it depends. I guess, the longing to ride somewhere you can't go every day makes it so interesting for you guys from other continents. For a lot of us around here it's plain boring. I'm not a tourist, I live here.
On the other hand: for the same reason a lot of european riders like to go abroad and find places where not every neighbour has been already.
