I had two things to do today: see a supplier in Ellington and check out a harvest site at University Forest. It was incredible. Left the office at 7:30 and went straight to Bay Creek. Very quiet, with just two of the good riverside sites in use. Then over to Alley where I hit the creek road to Eminence. This was about 9 and the fish were hopping!
Motored on the Ellington. I had forgotten how nice 106 is East of Eminence. Great road.
Did you know there is a cycling hostel in Ellington? Crazy.
Lunch was at the tiny, dirty, sketchy Mill Creek store, Mill Creek, MO. Go there. Killer burger.
Double with cheese, chips and a can for 5$. Nice.
It was about boiling after I left the woods, so I stripped down and jumped in lake wapapello. That was the opposite of refreshing.
That was my day at work. I missed one conference call and a production lunch, but man oh man, it was a good 300 miles.
