A buddy and I just returned from Ouray, CO area. Rode Engineer, Cinnamon, California, and Cork Screw on our KLR 650's.
Got in a little over our heads once but we made it.

My old riding buddy (who worked outside everyday of his life) is 73 and still riding difficult single track. It CAN be done. But for those of us who were trapped in an office ten hours a day for 45 years of their lives (read that as over weight and out of shape)......it's a bit more difficult at 71 than it was at 60 or 65.
