The great thing about the way we machine the safety bead is that we only do three inches each side of the valve stem. It allows you to break the bead for tire changes, but does not sacrifice the security that the safety bead provides at lower tire pressures.
In regards to stronger wheels, the rims alone are a much higher quality aluminum and the spokes and nipples larger and made of non-rusting stainless steel. Just thought I'd put my two cents in.
