Looking back into the Ogilvy Mountians.

I call this photo "When Geeks Ride", but one of their wives prefer "When Lazy Geeks Ride"

Eagle Plains is about halfway from Klondike junction to Inuvik; we fed, fueled and stayed the night at this outpost.

Hmmmm, hope we don't need one of these...

As you climb the foothills of the Richardson Mountains you come to the artic circle.

The Artic circle is defined as the latitude that one day a year the sun never sets and one day a year the sun never rises.

Exactly one year ago I was here, which is where there are 12 hours from sunrise to sunset every day. I wonder what will happen next year, maybe the prime meridian.
