I flatted out two rear tubes before I found the culprit. Sneaky little bur on a spoke nipple kept holing the tubes through the rim liner band.
This shut me down on mounting the D606's last night since I ran out of spares. (note to self: measure twice, cut once should apply to flats?).
Anyhow, now that I know you recommend studding & screwing tires, is this a service that WWW provides? If so, how much to stud a set of new D606's?
I have 500 Kold Kutter ice screws that I plan to use off highway, however the DR is also a commuter bike, so I'm planning to take the leap into studded tires.
