Can you imagine if your product was as discussed as we discuss bikes in this forum, how valuable it would be to you as a manufacturer? I would kill for this kind of information regarding my customers, my product, how it performs, how they feel about my service, my company, etc. etc. Hell if I was BMWNA I would have people dedicated to surfing this and other similar forums, compiling information on all of this, comparing it to dealer warranty claims, following up on good and bad dealer service reports, and so on.
Question is: do they take advantage of it? do they care? do they use it only as a gage as to how deep they can gouge us? How far they can push it? Anyone in the know regarding BMWNA´s awareness and interest or lackthereof of this and other forums??
