Ever seen a stock 1150 GS screen? It has a lip at the top, that's what I cut off. I'm freakishly tall, and wanted my mug in fresh streaming air, no buffetting, so the lip had to go. The other trick was to drill the cleats for a lower setting, the screen is laid way back, simply perfect to have my helmet in clean air flow with minimal (for a GS) turbulence.
