Nice sleepy little town.

Nobody who matters lives in Billerica.

I have a S0HC 78 750. I am worried about the compression numbers. I checked compression with a cold engine and the numbers are 95, 101, 105, 104 in order. I understand that hot engine numbers should be 140+.

I can do a leakdown test in the next few days if that would help.

Should I recheck the numbers with a hot engine or do those numbers already indicate some real problems (engine blows significant blue smoke on acceleration and deceleration).

How much does a ring/piston job cost.
