Check out Post # 625 on the below thread.

Woody and I did quite a bit of work in presenting some pictures of rim indexing. My 640 Adventure has Euro indexed rear wheel and Jap indexed front wheel. To confirm what your bike is (I'm pretty sure it'll be Euro indexed because the hub will require that and I think all the KTM cush drive hubs are the same) and then what the rim is you use the information in the thread with the pictures.

I'm going through the same hassles with sorting out the front.
