Whoa, i think ive got it now. You see, i ordered OEM rims from the new 690 Rallye as they're black excels. The front rim laced up fine because my 660 has a talon hub as standard. The rnew ear rim however was wrong so i thought it must be my hub that is the odd ball. However, if you say that the lc4 cush drive hub (like on my bike and on yours) has the same drilling requirements as the other ktm enduro hubs then it means that its the 690 hub thats odd and therefore all i have to do is buy an excel to fit a "ktm".

Thanks for the help. I would really appreciate a photo of your 450's rear wheel to double check what ive said is right.
