That's very interesting about the BMW. I couldn't understand why they would display a production motorcycle at the Cycle World show in February but not sell it until September. Another possible explanation for the Yamaha is that dealers simply ordered more WR250Rs than Yamaha produced. That happened in the first year of Suzuki's SV650.
