Well I wouldnt call myself an experienced biker with a lot of knowledge to compare it to, but power seems fine. I took a test ride on the F650GS before this one and the difference was huge, bigger than I expected. The engine does 'stutter' occaisionally, not sure if thats the right word to use. Basically if I slow down and am driving in too high a gear the engine kinda coughs. I saw on another forum that this also happens on another one of the BMW bikes that uses the same engine. Its no big deal though and I actually quite like the sound
