TARider is correct, it is indeed a Jim Rawley built bike of which I know only a little of its history. I have corresponded with Jim a couple of times just to verify some details and history. He verified its origins and was glad to know of its continued life. I acquired the bike in February of this year, have breathed new life into it and am just about finished with its reconstruction.
On to the good stuff:
It is made up of a 1974 R90/6 frame with 1984 R100 running gear. (big valves, big carbs (40mm Bings) big exhaust) a very good 3.36 (37/11) final drive and matching rear wheel from Snoop's project bike
for the off road work and a well used 2.9? rear if you feel like ripping down the highway.
More to come...
