Newfoundland is about 60°N. The Hudson Strait is about 63°N. Nuuk on Greenland is about 63°N. The northermost point on Iseland is about 66°N.
This is taken from downtown Tromsø, Norway. At 70°N. About 50.000 people lives here, and you'll find a fine university together with everything you expect from a university town.
