This is what a '75 or '76 Honda CB400F Supersport is supposed to look like
The bike above is my pride and joy although it does have a blue tank on it now. I also have this other bike that was used as a parts bike to get mine in original condition. Live2Ride needs something to do in the winter so he's going to help me out by removing an unused bike from my garage.
I pulled three of my bikes out of the garage today, put them in the back yard to clean them up then pushed and shoved a few other things around to get to the chopper so I could take some pictures for Live2Ride.
OK Live2Ride, here's what you've been waiting for:
You wanted to see the handlebars and forks - - - as you can see I put the bars to good use (I'd been wondering where that extension cord disappeared too
Dang, the tire looks like it's still holding air, that's better than the tires you were using last year.
Of course every good chopper needs a sissy bar, heck it even has a decent pad on it. It had been so many years since I'd seen that thing I forgot that it had the pad.
I thought the bike had been piped but I was wrong, it still has stock pipes but it has after market shocks. I don't know anything about this shock but I bet it was the hot ticket in the 70s but no so much for this century.
It has an instrument panel, sort of, and I even found the key.
Of course you'll need a tank, I'm not so sure how good that's going to look with flames on it but it will be unique.
OK Tim, now that I've thrown this out here for the NWet ADV community to see you're going to have to produce something out of this thing. Ohhhhhhh this is going to be good.
