google some test on these, most are from Oz/NZ nice bike, stands up well , suzuki looked at an xr250 and tried to one up it still keeping it simple, e-start, oil cooled, better seat, better suspension front and rear and better road fire roading then a XR, but the XR shines in tight single track. lots of info on thumpertalk, one guy said the exaust has a flange the constricts flow near the head, grind it out or go big $ with a yosh pipe. some that are heavy have had trouble finding very stiff springs, the forks look like drz400 but arent. these are cheap used and tough. i'd ride one. re a big tank, this is a single tube frame, I'd bet another bikes tank would fit, especially if yellow wasnt required, problem is which one?
