Was asked to see if our system would bolt onto 690e, the 2 that came to our shop in Bend were gone within hours so we'd never seen one until yesterday. Northwest KTM of Gresham's Chris allowed us to inspect and test fit. We positioned the bag to allow fueling access, just enough to get the key into the lid and open the fuel cell. Right hand side requires 2 smooth head t nuts and hd urethane patch on cell to bombproof that connection. When he installs the Leo, it probably will not require a heat shield but in the meantime, a small mod of our existing stainless steel unit will prevent any melting. That can is huge!
Heat shield will bend to conform the stock header and still be double walled. (Not shown as I didn't want to risk scratching this brand new machine).
