Here's a couple from Sistersville, WV. There is a ferry between here and Fly, OH that is fun to ride. These are very close to the ferry entrance on the WV side:

Scroll down a few pages to see a lot of photos taken back then. Looking through the pictures in these links, it's hard to imagine the hordes of folks who flocked into these areas in the past seeking fast wealth. At present, it's a quiet little town on the Ohio River.

For riding in the area, take route 18 south out of Sistersville to Josephs Mills, then 74 south down to Coxs Mills. 47 east to Troy, then 18 back north. Excellent riding!
