To under just remove the screw and put the washers on the other side outside of the sensor and your done.

No cutting into the wiring harness and takes only couple secs to do.

The really cheap penny trick.

Then it's off permanently, and so, can not be activated again easily/fast when riding home on the road... But I like the idea for a 2 week offroad trip though
