Then it sounds like it is due.
This is the service manual's routine maintenance, (the next page is the competition maintenance).
All I can say its
recommended for every other oil change (change oil AND filter q 600 miles or 6 months which ever comes sooner!
(the same time you check your fuel strainer screen)
