There is a crossover just behind the pivot for the center stand. No problem with low end torque.

The forks are Showa - inverted - with Gold Valves (attached how to)

Rear shock is WP (I think- I need to go look again) and works fine.

Front wheel with Talon hub and oversized rotor built by M.A.P. Engineering
(as was the rest of this whole bike project. This was Jim Rowley's, the owner's, project- don't think he makes the R80G/S version of oversized rotors as a matter of habit. But he does do a lot of interesting dualsport and rally bike projects) Check it here:
