Turns out that my email problem with Spencers was a problem of AOL vs. Earthlink. I sent him an email from work (non-Earthlink) and got a response right away. So I shipped off my seat and also the OEM seat from my KLR.
Should have a report in two weeks provided the weather is good enough for riding. (It's four days each way by UPS to Florida.)
